Hubbard Radio is turning to one of radio’s emerging young personalities to take over afternoons on MOViN 92.5 in Seattle.
Beginning Monday, July 20, Israel “Izzy” Nunnelly will join the station’s weekday lineup, making the leap from 104.3 The Rewind (KCAR-FM), which serves the greater Joplin, Missouri market.
For Nunnelly, the move represents a significant career milestone as he transitions from a regional station to one of the country’s top media markets. Radio has been a lifelong part of his story. His father, Howie Nunnelly, has spent decades in broadcasting and currently leads stations in northeast Oklahoma while continuing an on-air career that has spanned multiple markets.
Nunnelly takes over the afternoon shift previously held by George “Jax” Cotsirilos, who departed the station earlier this year.
The appointment also highlights Hubbard Radio’s continued investment in developing the next generation of on-air personalities. Rather than looking outside the industry for a recognizable name, the company is placing its confidence in a broadcaster whose career is still in its early stages but has already begun attracting attention.
Seattle is one of radio’s most competitive markets, and opportunities like this don’t come along often. For Izzy Nunnelly, it’s a chance to introduce himself to an entirely new audience while stepping onto one of the Pacific Northwest’s most recognized CHR brands.
As MOViN 92.5 refreshes its afternoon lineup, listeners can expect a new voice, a new perspective, and another chapter in the station’s continuing evolution.
