iHeart Expands Reach Through New LG, TextNow Partnerships

iHeartMedia is widening the distribution of its streaming audio and podcast portfolio through a pair of new partnerships that place the company’s content in front of listeners both at home and on the go.

The audio giant announced separate agreements with consumer electronics leader LG Electronics and wireless provider TextNow, extending access to iHeartRadio across smart TVs, connected speakers, and mobile devices without additional barriers for consumers.

Under the agreement with LG, more than 850 live iHeartRadio stations, digital-only channels, and the company’s extensive podcast catalog will now be integrated into LG Radio+, the manufacturer’s free ad-supported audio platform. The service is available on LG Smart TVs operating on webOS 6.0 and newer and will also be accessible through compatible LG xboom speakers and connected audio products.

The move gives LG users direct access to one of the largest audio libraries in the country while further expanding iHeart’s presence throughout the connected home ecosystem. LG says the addition of iHeartRadio content enhances its goal of creating a more seamless listening experience across its growing family of entertainment devices.

Meanwhile, iHeartMedia is also partnering with TextNow, bringing the iHeartRadio app to the company’s Free Flex wireless plan. The arrangement allows eligible TextNow users to stream iHeartRadio content using included data access, eliminating additional data charges associated with listening to music, podcasts, and live radio through the app.

The partnership marks the first major content integration for TextNow’s Free Flex platform as the company continues building a wireless service model focused on providing consumers with greater flexibility and lower costs. Through the agreement, users gain access to iHeartRadio’s extensive lineup of live stations, curated playlists, and on-demand content while remaining within TextNow’s free data ecosystem.

For iHeartMedia, both partnerships represent another step in the company’s ongoing strategy of making its content available wherever audiences choose to consume audio. Whether through connected televisions, smart speakers, or mobile devices, the company continues to push its radio stations, podcasts, and streaming offerings into new platforms as listener habits evolve beyond traditional broadcast delivery.

As competition for audio listeners intensifies, distribution remains one of the industry’s most valuable assets. These latest deals place iHeartRadio in additional living rooms and pockets across America, reinforcing the company’s commitment to meeting listeners wherever they are.
