The dust has barely settled from the arrival of “The Fred Show” in the Washington-Baltimore corridor, and iHeartMedia is already making additional moves behind the microphone.

Several talent lineup changes are taking effect at “Hot 99.5” WIHT Washington and “Z104.3” WZFT Baltimore as the company continues to refine its programming strategy across the two closely connected CHR stations.

One of the biggest changes involves Nick Gomez, who moves from evenings into the midday slot at WIHT. Gomez has been a fixture on the station’s nighttime lineup since the summer of 2022 and later added Music Director responsibilities. In addition to his Washington duties, Gomez also oversees iHeartMedia’s TikTok Radio platform. Before joining WIHT, he gained experience at William Paterson University’s WPSC-FM in New Jersey and later worked overnight shifts at New York’s legendary Z100.

His promotion triggers several additional schedule adjustments.

“On Air with Ryan Seacrest” exits middays at WIHT and shifts into the evening hours. Meanwhile, across the market at WZFT Baltimore, Seacrest’s nationally syndicated program takes over the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. timeslot.

The changes continue in Baltimore, where Elizabethany expands her responsibilities by taking on a 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. shift while maintaining her Assistant Program Director role and afternoon duties at WIHT. Mike Klein also sees his schedule adjusted, moving one hour later into a 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. shift while continuing as Assistant Program Director at WZFT.

The moves represent the latest chapter in an ongoing series of programming adjustments following the launch of “The Fred Show,” as iHeartMedia continues fine-tuning its CHR brands in two of the Mid-Atlantic’s most competitive markets.
