Family Life Ministries is making another significant investment in Christian broadcasting, strengthening its presence across Pennsylvania with the purchase of two Cumulus Media stations in a deal valued at $2.25 million.
The regional Christian AC broadcaster has reached an agreement to acquire WWKL (Hot 106.7) serving the Harrisburg market and WLLF (Sports Radio 96.7) serving Mercer County, Pennsylvania, near the Youngstown, Ohio market. The transaction marks another major step in the ministry’s steady expansion across the Northeast.
The larger of the two signals, WWKL, delivers coverage throughout much of South Central Pennsylvania, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York, making it one of the region’s most recognizable FM facilities. Meanwhile, WLLF gives Family Life its first significant foothold in the Youngstown-area region, opening the door to thousands of additional listeners in western Pennsylvania.
The latest purchase continues an aggressive growth strategy that has unfolded over the past year. Family Life has already added 98.9 WCDF in Millersburg and also acquired the former 100.5 WQBG in Elizabethville, a station currently off the air that has construction approval to relocate closer to the Harrisburg market. Together, those moves position the ministry for a much larger presence across Central Pennsylvania.
The acquisition represents more than just two new frequencies. It reflects Family Life Ministries’ continued commitment to expanding its reach and investing in additional communities through Christian radio. As many broadcasters continue restructuring and reducing operations, Family Life is moving in the opposite direction—growing its footprint and increasing its ability to serve listeners throughout the region.
The transaction remains subject to the customary regulatory approval process before the stations officially change hands.
