One of the nation’s fastest-growing Spanish Christian radio networks is about to make its biggest move yet.

Beginning Tuesday, July 7, 94.5 FM in the Dallas-Fort Worth market will officially become the newest home of Fuzión Radio, as Encouragement Media Group launches its faith-based Spanish-language brand on the former Majic 94.5 signal. The station will operate under the new KFZN call letters following Encouragement Media Group’s $6 million acquisition of the facility earlier this year.

The expansion marks another significant milestone for the Fuzión Radio network, which debuted in East Texas in 2022 and has rapidly grown into a multi-state ministry with stations serving audiences across Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Southern California, and Nevada. Dallas-Fort Worth now becomes the network’s 18th broadcast signal and its most prominent market to date.

The transition also closes the book on a longtime Urban AC brand that served North Texas for years. Programming previously heard on Majic 94.5 has already begun shifting within the Urban One cluster, highlighted by the move of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show to 97.9 The Beat (KBFB) as the company reshapes its Dallas-Fort Worth lineup.

This isn’t simply another format change.

It’s the arrival of an entirely different mission.

Rather than competing for music position alone, Fuzión Radio is built around faith-centered programming, contemporary Christian music, biblical encouragement, and content created specifically for Hispanic listeners and families.

For Encouragement Media Group, landing a major-market signal in one of America’s largest Hispanic communities represents a transformational moment in the organization’s continued growth.

For Dallas-Fort Worth listeners, 94.5 FM is preparing to sound very different beginning this week—ushering in a new era built around inspiration, hope, and ministry.
