A familiar voice is returning to Minneapolis-St. Paul, at least for now.
Angi Taylor has been selected to serve as interim afternoon host on KS95 (KSTP-FM) while Hubbard Radio searches for a permanent replacement following last week’s departure of longtime afternoon team Staci Matthews and Greg “Hutch” Hutchinson.
For Twin Cities listeners, Taylor is far from a stranger. She first became a household name in the market as co-host of Dave Ryan’s morning show on KDWB, where she spent five years before launching a successful career in larger markets.
Following her Minneapolis run, Taylor moved to Philadelphia for mornings at WIOQ before spending more than a decade on Chicago radio. Most recently, she hosted The Angi Taylor Show on Rock 95.5 (WCHI-FM) from the station’s launch in 2020 until her departure in late 2024.
While Taylor keeps the afternoon shift warm, Hubbard Radio has officially launched a nationwide search for its next permanent KS95 afternoon personality. The company is seeking an experienced broadcaster with a background in Hot AC, CHR, Country, or a comparable format, along with a proven history of building successful ratings and delivering an engaging, locally relevant afternoon show.
Taylor’s return gives KS95 a seasoned broadcaster with deep ties to the Twin Cities while the station looks for the next long-term voice to lead one of the market’s premier afternoon dayparts.
