MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Conclave Board of Directors has begun to reveal sessions and faculty for its farewell conference. 

This historic, final gathering of some of the radio industries’ fines, Conclave 45: The Last Conclave, will take place from September 15th to 17th at the Crowne Plaza Aire – Minneapolis Airport in Bloomington, MN.

Among the sessions on September 16th, The Last Conclave will look at The Future of Programming. Sean Ross of Ross On Radio will moderate a fast-paced discussion that will include Joel Denver, Partner/CEO at SonicTrek.ai, Greg Strassell, EVP Programming & Audience Development at Hubbard – Media that Connects and Jeff McCarthy, Vice President/Programming, Midwest Communications, Inc. 

We could not possibly say goodbye without one last presentation from the pride of Scandia, Minnesota, CPR Promotions own Paige Nienaber! Paige will review the Top 25 Radio Promotions of All Time! From KCBQ’s Last Contest, The Incredible Prize Catalogue Sweepstakes, Virgin Radio’s Cash Hit, to the infamous KDWB Blimp, a fun and informative hour is guaranteed!

Conclave 45: The Last Conclave will also be handing out an unprecedented six Rockwell Awards, beginning with the Rockwell that would have been handed out at our cancelled 2023 Learning Conference to the late founder of Tri-County Broadcasting of Sauk Rapids, MN, Herb Hoppe.

The 2026 Rockwell Winners, are Mark Bolke, retired RCS executive and former Conclave Chairman of the Board, Dave “Chachi” Denes, co-founder of Benztown Branding, Joe Knapp, founder of MusicMaster Scheduling, Lori Lewis, founder of Lori Lewis Media and former Conclave Chairperson of the Board and Dan Seeman, VP/Market Manager, Hubbard – Media that Connects/Minneapolis

Plus on September 17th Conclave 45 will play host to a special Twin Cities Radio  session moderated by Kelly Doherty, founder of The Imaging House and former KDWB personality. 

More sessions and faculty members will be announced over the coming days. 

The Conclave has served as a cornerstone for radio education, talent development, and networking for half a century. Conclave 45 serves as a final curtain call, uniting broadcasters, executives, and students one last time to celebrate the power of personality and top performance in radio.
