A new chapter has begun for Meruelo Media’s KLLI-FM in Los Angeles.
The company has officially moved Cali 93.9 away from its Spanish Rhythmic format and introduced a bilingual Adult Contemporary approach designed to appeal to listeners who enjoy music in both English and Spanish.
The revamped station now features a broader playlist filled with familiar hits from the 1980s through the 2020s. Its new identity centers around the slogan “Éxitos Para Nosotros” (“Hits For Us”), reflecting a format built for Southern California’s diverse and bilingual audience.
The transition also appears to include changes behind the microphone. All on-air personalities have been removed from the station’s website, indicating the previous talent lineup is no longer part of the station’s presentation.
The move represents another example of broadcasters reshaping formats in an effort to better connect with evolving listener habits and changing demographics in one of America’s most competitive radio markets.
