Audacy is making a notable weekday adjustment at Sports 550 WGR and 104.7 W284AP Buffalo along with 107.7 WGR-FM Wethersfield Township, adding a familiar Western New York voice back to the schedule while also creating new on-air opportunities around one of the market’s most established sports brands.
The revised lineup begins Monday September 14, with Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase continuing in mornings from 6 to 10 a.m. The biggest move comes in middays, where Brad Riter returns to WGR to anchor a four-hour block from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Riter will not be working alone. Tim Graham, Buffalo Bills reporter for The Athletic, will join him from 10 a.m. to noon, while Owen Parker will take over as co-host from noon to 2 p.m.
For Riter, the move marks a return to familiar territory. He previously worked at WGR from 2000 through 2007 and has remained active in Buffalo media through a number of roles since leaving the station. His return gives Audacy a host with deep market familiarity and a long-standing connection to the local sports audience.
Parker also brings an interesting family connection to the lineup. He is the son of longtime WGR afternoon personality Chris Bulldog Parker and will continue working behind the scenes as video producer for the station’s morning show while adding a regular on-air role in middays.
The changes give WGR a refreshed daytime structure while preserving its established morning foundation. In a sports market as personality-driven as Buffalo, the combination of a recognizable returning host, a prominent Bills reporter and a younger in-house voice gives the station several different audience entry points without completely reshaping the brand.
For WGR, the move is less about reinventing the station than strengthening the hours between its major established shows with personalities already connected to Buffalo sports culture.
