Brady Returns to Terrestrial Radio with Long Island Move

There’s something familiar about the way this one comes together. A programmer with a long memory. A talent with a winding road back to where it all started. And a format that, in a lot of ways, never really leaves you.

Brady On The Radio is stepping into a new role at WWWF 103.1 The Wolf, adding weekend shifts to his growing list of on-air responsibilities while also joining The Kelly Ford Show as an exclusive guest host.

For Brady, the move isn’t just another market addition — it’s a return to the terrestrial side of the business that first gave him a microphone.

His path into radio began in Michigan, where he cut his teeth before building a resume that stretched across multiple cities and formats. That journey eventually brought him to New York, where he landed in one of the most competitive radio environments in the country, hosting nights at Z100 and later taking the mic at the former Alt 92.3.

Even as the industry shifted and Brady expanded into national platforms — including his current role as an on-air voice with SiriusXM — the connection to live, local radio never disappeared.

This move to 103.1 The Wolf feels less like a pivot and more like a full-circle moment.

Behind the scenes, it’s also a story of timing — and persistence.

Program Director Robby Bridges has had his eye on Brady for years, dating back to their shared time in Detroit. That kind of long-term pursuit doesn’t always pay off in this business, but when it does, it usually means something.

“I’ve been trying to hire Brady since we were both in Detroit a decade ago,” Bridges said. “He’s an incredible jock with a deep passion for radio and connecting with listeners. Lucky for us he happens to be a country fan too!”

That last part matters.

Because while Brady’s résumé includes pop and alternative stops, the roots run deeper — and they run country.

“I grew up on country music, my first concert was a country music festival, my first gig in radio was at a country station and I howl along with my dog when he does it so this just makes sense,” Brady said. “I’m very excited to join Robby & the team at The Wolf and to be back on terrestrial radio every weekend connecting with Long Island listeners again!!”

And that’s really the headline here.

Not just another hire. Not just another shift filled.

This is about connection — the kind that doesn’t always translate through algorithms or national feeds. The kind that still lives in weekend shows, local shoutouts, and the unpredictable rhythm of live radio.

For Connoisseur Media’s Long Island cluster, adding a personality like Brady brings more than experience. It adds familiarity with the New York audience, credibility across multiple formats, and a voice that already understands how to navigate both national platforms and local expectations.

For Brady, it’s a chance to re-engage with listeners in real time — something that even in 2026 still carries weight.

And for The Wolf, it’s a reminder that sometimes the best moves aren’t about discovering something new… they’re about finally making the right connection at the right time.

Because a decade later, that Detroit conversation turned into a Long Island reality.

And now, every weekend, that signal gets a little louder.
