MediaCo Holding Inc. is making a significant change to its executive leadership structure, promoting Brian Fisher to the role of President as the company positions itself for its next stage of growth.
With the promotion, Albert Rodriguez will continue as Chief Executive Officer while shifting his attention toward long-term strategy, business development, and shareholder initiatives. Fisher will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, taking on responsibility for executing MediaCo’s strategic priorities across the organization.
Fisher has been part of MediaCo since 2021, serving in several executive positions after joining the company during its transition from Estrella Media. Before that, he spent a decade with Disney/ABC in digital advertising and later held senior sales leadership roles with both Bloomberg and Tribune Media, building a career centered on media revenue growth and business development.
Rodriguez said Fisher’s promotion reflects the company’s momentum and confidence in its leadership team, adding that his experience makes him well-suited to guide daily operations while MediaCo continues pursuing new growth opportunities.
Fisher called the appointment an honor, pointing to the company’s portfolio of brands, experienced team, and long-term vision. He said his focus will be on executing that strategy while continuing to create value for audiences, advertising partners, and shareholders.
MediaCo also announced another executive change, naming Roberto Castro as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer while the company conducts a search for a permanent CFO.
The leadership realignment comes as MediaCo continues refining its corporate strategy, with a renewed emphasis on operational execution while positioning the company for continued expansion.
