Tiff Potter Returns To Cincinnati Radio With A Fresh Voice And A New Home On Q102

Sometimes the best comeback stories don’t require leaving town.

They simply require finding the right microphone.

After spending the better part of the last year away from daily radio, Tiff Potter is officially back on the Cincinnati airwaves, joining Hubbard Radio’s Q102 (WKRQ) as the station’s new midday host. Beginning immediately, Potter will entertain listeners weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., while also taking the reins of the station’s nightly “Trending 12” feature during the 8 p.m. hour.

For Cincinnati radio fans, it’s a familiar voice returning to a familiar city—but this time with a brand-new opportunity.

Potter built a loyal following during her years at iHeartMedia’s Kiss 107.1, where she served in multiple leadership and on-air roles after arriving in 2019. Her responsibilities evolved from Assistant Program Director and Music Director into a full-time morning personality, making her one of the market’s recognizable contemporary radio voices before departing the station last fall.

Long before Cincinnati became home, Potter sharpened her skills in one of America’s most competitive radio markets at Boston’s legendary Kiss 108, gaining experience in music programming, on-air entertainment, and behind-the-scenes content creation that would help shape the personality listeners know today.

Now, she’s writing a new chapter.

In announcing the move, Potter shared that she isn’t interested in creating just another radio show. Instead, she hopes to build an authentic space where listeners feel like they’re spending time with a friend—blending local life, behind-the-scenes moments, everyday adventures, and the kind of honest storytelling that has become increasingly important in personality-driven radio.

It’s a philosophy that fits perfectly with where the industry is heading.

Today’s audiences aren’t simply looking for someone to introduce the next song. They’re looking for connection. They want personalities who are relatable, genuine, and willing to share life’s imperfections alongside its biggest moments. That’s exactly the lane Potter appears ready to embrace as she settles into afternoons on one of Cincinnati’s most recognizable brands.

She succeeds Mollie Watson, who departed the station earlier this summer, giving Q102 an opportunity to refresh one of its key dayparts with a personality already well known throughout the Queen City.

For Hubbard Radio, the hire represents more than filling an opening. It’s bringing back an established Cincinnati talent with programming experience, market familiarity, and an authentic style that has already proven capable of building meaningful relationships with listeners.

Sometimes the next great chapter begins exactly where the previous one left off.

For Tiff Potter, that chapter starts with a familiar skyline, a new studio, and another chance to connect with Cincinnati every weekday.
