Lisa Berigan Returns To BIG 100.3 Middays

One of Washington radio’s most recognizable voices is returning to familiar territory.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock “BIG 100.3” WBIG-FM Washington has announced the return of Lisa Berigan to the station’s midday lineup, bringing a familiar personality back to a daypart she occupied for nearly two decades.

Berigan originally joined WBIG in 2005 and became a staple of the station’s on-air lineup before departing in November 2024. Her return reunites the station with a talent who has long been associated with Classic Rock radio in the nation’s capital.

Since leaving BIG 100.3, Berigan spent time co-hosting afternoons at Christian AC station WGTS before returning to the iHeartMedia cluster, where she has been heard on weekends and as a fill-in host on AC 97.1 WASH-FM and Country 98.7 WMZQ.

Her radio career extends well beyond Washington. Before joining BIG 100.3, Berigan held on-air positions at Z104 WWZZ in Washington and also worked in major markets including Chicago at WTMX and Philadelphia at WPLY. She additionally serves as host of the nationally syndicated “Live In Concert” program.

The move gives BIG 100.3 a familiar voice with deep roots in both the station and the Washington market. Berigan spent years building relationships with listeners throughout the DMV and remains closely associated with the station’s identity.

For iHeartMedia Washington, the return represents the restoration of a proven talent whose experience, market familiarity, and connection with Classic Rock fans have made her one of the area’s best-known personalities.

Berigan’s return comes as stations across the country continue to lean on trusted local brands and established personalities to strengthen audience connections in an increasingly competitive audio landscape.

Some radio personalities become part of a station. Others become part of a market. Lisa Berigan’s return to BIG 100.3 brings together both, reconnecting a familiar voice with listeners who have spent years making her part of their daily routine.
