Connoisseur Media is putting a new leadership structure in place across its West Coast stations, expanding the responsibilities of several veteran programmers while making a series of on-air adjustments in California and Oregon.
The most significant change elevates Brian Figula into a broader regional leadership role overseeing the company’s Bay Area operations, including stations serving San Francisco, San Jose, and the East Bay. In addition to continuing his work with 96.5 KOIT, Figula will now guide the programming strategy for Bay Country 98.5/92.1 (KBAY/KKDV) and Mix 106.5 (KEZR). His expanded role comes as Connoisseur continues integrating the Bay Area stations it recently acquired.
Elsewhere in Northern California, “Jazzy” Jim Archer is adding two more brands to his portfolio. Already leading programming at 99.7 NOW (KMVQ), Archer will now oversee 102.9 KBLX while also taking the programming reins at Portland’s Live 95.5 (KBFF).
Portland is also seeing additional leadership changes. Ross MacLeod will assume programming oversight of 98.7 The Bull (KUPL), complementing his existing responsibilities with 101.9 KINK and 102.9 KUFO HD2. The move follows earlier staffing changes within the Portland cluster and further consolidates programming leadership under an experienced local executive.
The restructuring extends beyond management.
Veteran air personality Chris Jackson transitions to Mix 106.5, where he’ll take over middays, while Emily Harlan expands her duties by adding a midday shift on 98.7 The Bull in Portland alongside her existing role on Bay Country.
Taken together, the moves signal a broader strategy focused on streamlining operations while giving experienced programmers greater influence across multiple brands and markets. Rather than operating stations independently, Connoisseur appears to be building a more collaborative regional programming model that leverages proven leadership throughout its West Coast portfolio.
With fresh oversight, expanded responsibilities, and several key talent moves now in place, the company is positioning its California and Oregon stations for their next phase of growth in two of the country’s most competitive radio landscapes.
