Papa Keith Shifts Into New Role as 103.5 The Beat Unveils Updated Lineup

One of Miami radio’s most recognizable voices is beginning a new chapter.

iHeartMedia’s 103.5 The Beat has announced a series of programming changes highlighted by the transition of longtime afternoon personality Papa Keith into a newly created role focused on multicultural brand partnerships. While stepping away from his daily afternoon shift, Papa Keith will remain connected to listeners through his Saturday morning program and his ongoing podcast projects.

For more than a decade, Papa Keith has been a fixture in afternoons on the station, helping shape its identity while maintaining a strong presence throughout South Florida. His move allows him to expand his work beyond the microphone while continuing to represent the station and the community he has served for decades.

Taking over afternoons will be DJ Entice, who moves up from evenings. The lineup changes continue into the night as Slim City joins forces with Billy Blue for a new evening show airing from 6 to 10 p.m. The station will also add Atlanta personalities Ferrari and BT during late nights, while The Bootleg Kev Show remains in overnights.

The remainder of the lineup remains intact, including The Breakfast Club in mornings and Stichiz in middays.

Station leadership described the refreshed schedule as a blend of established personalities and emerging voices, designed to reflect the culture, energy, and diversity that have long defined South Florida. Company executives also praised Papa Keith’s contributions, noting the significant role he has played in building relationships with listeners, community organizations, and business partners throughout the region.

The changes represent one of the most significant lineup adjustments for 103.5 The Beat in recent years, while ensuring that one of the station’s most influential personalities remains an active part of its future.

After more than a decade in afternoons, Papa Keith’s voice isn’t leaving Miami radio—it’s simply finding a new way to make an impact while helping usher in the next generation of talent at 103.5 The Beat.
