Audacy has officially elevated Joe LaCroix to Brand Manager of Sports 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore, completing a steady rise through the ranks at the station he joined nearly a decade ago. According to Audacy, LaCroix will oversee content strategy, talent development, operations, and branding for the station.
LaCroix began his tenure with the station in 2017 as a part-time board operator before advancing to Executive Producer of the “Big Bad Morning Show” in 2021. Earlier this year, he was named Assistant Brand Manager as the station prepared for the departure of former Brand Manager Scott Jameson.
In announcing the promotion, Audacy Sports Format Vice President Chris Kinard praised LaCroix’s leadership, work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges, calling him the clear choice to lead the brand moving forward. LaCroix said he is honored to guide the station where his radio career began and expressed enthusiasm about helping shape the next chapter of the station’s future in Baltimore.
The appointment continues a remarkable career trajectory for LaCroix, who has grown from behind-the-scenes operator to one of the key programming leaders within Audacy’s sports division. His promotion also provides continuity for one of Baltimore’s most recognizable sports radio brands as it continues to serve fans across the market.
